Students Win NBC Today Show Contest

August 13, 2013

Two Bradley University seniors were ecstatic this morning when they won a contest on NBC’s Today Show.  Shelby Duitsman, a senior Communications major, and Christine Johnson, a senior Learning Behavior Specialist major, submitted a video for the show’s “College Counterparts” contest. Today Show's morning hosts, Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda surprised them with the news that they won the national contest.  They were thrilled to win the competition and were awarded a trip to San Diego. The two friends, who met through the Kappa Delta Sorority, said they are just like co-hosts KLG and Hoda because they love animals, have favorite things, and enjoy a love-hate relationship with music.
