Faculty may purchase up to 4 tickets per ID and must purchase tickets from the ticket office to receive the discount. Tickets will go on sale to the public for $30 starting February 25 at 10 a.m. online and at any Ticketmaster location.
This spring’s concert, the first in its genre at the Coliseum, is a response to the desires of the student population. The show will start at 8 p.m. with opener the Kari Lynch Band, and doors to the Coliseum will open at 7 p.m.
In the last year, The Band Perry has toured with Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts, and performed at the Grammy and the Country Music Awards shows. Their hit single “If I Die Young” has been certified Quadruple Platinum for selling more than 4 million copies worldwide, the only single from a debut album to do so in the last 2 years. By combining influences of Rock, Gospel and Soul the Band Perry creates a unique sound that is not easily mimicked and appeals to country listeners and rock and pop enthusiasts alike. The Band Perry’s new single “Better Dig Two” is quickly climbing the country music charts, which is a great indicator of not only a quality new CD release in early April but also a great show on Bradley’s campus this spring!
ACBU, the premier student programming board at Bradley University, brings live entertainment to campus, including musicians, comedians and lecturers; the organization’s signature events include Homecoming, Siblings Weekend, Spring Fling and Welcome Week’s Casino Night. Ten student-run committees are responsible for the coordination of all performances, events and activities.
The Coliseum ticket office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call (309) 677-3050, or visit www.acbu.org.
