American-Muslim relations is subject of presentation

Peoria, IL (August 29, 2012) International human rights lawyer and author Arsalan Iftikhar will speak on American-Muslim relations on September 12 at 7 p.m. in the Michel Student Center ballroom on the campus of Bradley University.

Iftikhar, author of the book Islamic Pacifism: Global Muslims in the Post-Osama Era, is a regular weekly commentator for National Public Radio and a contributing writer for and Esquire Magazine on domestic and international issues affecting he world.

Admission to the presentation is free and the public is invited to attend.

The presentation is sponsored by Bradley's International Affairs Organization, Muslim Student Association Institute for Principled Leadership in Public Service, and Institute of International Studies, and the Peoria Area World Affairs Council.
