Overview

The following opportunities are available for Bradley faculty, staff, and students through the Office of Sponsored Programs. Grant requests for any of the following programs can be made through the Bradley University DocSoup system. Research Excellence Grants

Research Excellence grants fund projects to initiate new areas of research and creative production, to conduct pilot and planning projects for larger, externally-funded projects, or to prepare work for publication. Also, REC grants assist faculty in completing major scholarly or creative activity during summer months. Click on the links below for the Award and Budget guidelines,

Special Emphasis Faculty-Student Engagement Grants

Student engagement in research, creative activities, scholarship, and service. Proposals must demonstrate that participating student(s) will make a significant intellectual contribution to the project. As a condition of the Special Emphasis Faculty-Student Engagement Grant, students are expected to present outcomes at Bradley’s Annual Student Scholarship Expo.

Special Emphasis Student Travel Grants

SE Student Travel Grants are intended to support student travel to present scholarly work at refereed or highly renowned state, national, or international conferences. Maximum awards are $500 per student or $1,500 per project. Projects must align with one or more of the following categories:

• Registration and travel expenses for conference/workshop attendance and presentation/exhibition

• Supplies or services related to student presentation or exhibition

Center for teaching and learning

The Center for Teaching and Learning also offers grant programs for innovative teaching, conference and workshop travel support, student travel support, and special emphasis programs that entail significant undergraduate involvement.

Masi International Scholars Award

The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs is pleased to announce a new research scholars award available annually beginning next year in conjunction with Bradley's Annual Research and Creative Production Exposition.
