Bradley Theatre Alum Named Vice President of APA in Los Angeles

APA (Agency for the Performing Arts) has promoted feature literary agent, Ryan Saul '93, to Vice President, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.

Saul represents Maze Runner trilogy director Wes Ball, as well as Tim Reckart (who received an Oscar nomination for best animated short and is now directing Sony Animation's The Lamb), Robert Budreau (who directed Ethan Hawke as Chet Baker in the biopic Born to Be Blue), writing partners Ron Friedman and Steve Bencich (Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore), animation scribes Pat Casey and Josh Miller (Fox's Golan the Insatiable) and Chuck Rose, who created Crackle's drama The Art of More.

"Ryan's passion for recognizing and nurturing talent is second to none," APA president and CEO Jim Gosnell said in a statement. "I'm very happy to reward his hard work and dedication with this well-deserved promotion."

Saul joined the agency in 2008 from Metropolitan Talent, and was at Jim Preminger Agency before that. He started his career in The Walt Disney Co.'s strategic planning department. The Bradley University alumnus, who also earned an MFA in film and television production from Florida State University, continues to teach at both schools and actively coaches Little League and AYSO in Beverly Hills.
