Bradley University’s sales team duo of Julia Perisin ’17 and Mitch Kuldell ’16 finished second in the undergraduate division of the April 1-4 National Collegiate Sales Competition, with both students finishing in the top eight of the individual competition.

This was Bradley’s best finish at NCSC since the University’s team won in 2006. Hosted by Kennesaw State University’s Coles College of Business, NCSC is the nation’s oldest and largest event for sales majors. The undergraduate competition drew 68 schools and 130 individual competitors.

Perisin, the lone junior in the individual competition’s final four, placed second, while Kuldell, of Swansea, Illinois, placed eighth.

“I’m proud of our accomplishments,” said Peoria native Perisin. “We worked hard all semester for this one weekend, and it’s great to see our work pay off.”

Taylor Maloney ’16, of East Peoria, attended as the team’s alternate.

NCSC competitors are tested in live role-play sales call challenges. College faculty and recruiters from sponsoring companies judge each sales call. Additionally, students have opportunities to network with each other, faculty and prospective employers.

“Our sales program is one of the best in the country, and our team showed that as they faced the best sales students,” said team advisor Brad Eskridge. “I’m blessed to mentor these outstanding students everyday. That’s why I enjoy coming to work everyday.”
