Centers & Institutes
The center provides opportunities for faculty and students from all areas of the university to participate in collaborative research on all aspects of the human brain, including development, disease states and cognition. The center also supports new and ongoing collaborations between Bradley faculty and student researchers and leading brain researchers at partnering institutions, including the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and the Illinois Neurological Institute.
The Center for STEM Education is dedicated to increasing STEM literacy and improving STEM education and career opportunities for all citizens. The center works to advance the scholarship on the practice of learning and teaching in STEM fields and provides educational opportunities and training for the next generation of STEM educators, STEM professionals, and STEM-literate citizens.
The Institute is a Midwestern think tank and a partnership between Bradley University and the Dirksen Congressional Center focused on bipartisan leadership. Courses are offered to foster collaborative, bipartisan and ethical leadership in public service careers.
The Pre-Law Center was established to enhance and expand the services available to Bradley students interested in the study of law. The center provides an extensive array of experiences and resources to assist students interested in a career in law as they make plans for post-graduate education, to help students gain entrance into appropriately chosen law schools, and to prepare students to succeed in law school.
The Pre-Professional Health Advisory Center, opening fall 2011, will enhance and expand the services available to Bradley students interested in pursing careers in the health professions.
