Huffcutt named APS Fellow

The Association for Psychological Science named Bradley Caterpillar Professor of Psychology Dr. Allen Huffcutt a 2016 Fellow for his career contributions to the field.

APS is the second largest psychological organization in the world. The Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology, a division of the American Psychological Association, also honored Huffcutt with Fellow status in February 2016.

Huffcutt has focused on psychological aspects of employment interviews, with an interest in interviewers’ ability to predict candidates’ job performance. That work is now being used in the professional world to reshape interview structures and expectations.

Huffcutt has published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers while at Bradley, has written two chapters in edited books and has published two books. He’s a two-time recipient of Who’s Who Among American Teachers recognition (1998, 2005) and a 2005 Who’s Who in America honoree.
