Bradley computer science and information systems faculty Dr. Jonathon Doran and Dr. Tachun Lin received honors for research papers at two international conferences this semester.

Doran won a top paper designation at GameOn15, a computer simulation and gaming conference in Amsterdam. Doran and a research partner from the University of North Texas researched the integration of an automated quest generator into online role-playing game “EverQuest.”

Lin and a team of researchers from IBM, University of California-Davis and Italy won top paper honors at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ GlobeCom conference in San Diego, California. Their project focused on network function virtualization.
