Mr. Michael W. Hull is a Bradley University music faculty member and classical guitar performer. Michael has over 25 years of guitar teaching experience and is the only certified Childbloom® Guitar Program Director in Illinois. His love of music, sense of humor, and patient temperament make him
well-suited to work with kids.
For our Piano Program
Ms. Mandi Dyke graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University with a degree in Music Education. She studied piano with Susan Brandor and piano pedagogy with Carole Thibodeaux. Mrs. Dyke has been teaching piano privately for over 20 years. Several of her students have placed first in local piano competitions. Her dedication to music education and to children is demonstrated through her 10 years as a kindergarten teacher and 6 years as an elementary school music instructor.
Dr. Samuel Gingher, from Greensboro, North Carolina, holds a DMA in Piano Performance and Literature, Master of Music in Piano Performance and Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from UNC-Chapel Hill. Active as a performer, Sam has won piano competitions around the US, and played in various groups over the years in North Carolina and Illinois, from bluegrass to funk and jazz ensembles to chamber music. Sam currently plays accordion in Urbana-Champaign local bands, Almost A Quintet, Tangotta, and Don't Ask. A passionate teacher, Sam is currently adjunct faculty at Bradley University and Millikin University in Decatur. He has maintained a private studio since 2002 in North Carolina and then in Illinois, and has taught lessons through many institutions including the Community Center for the Arts (Urbana), Piano Laboratory Program (Urbana), and Piano Preparatory Program (Decatur).
