Full-time One-Year Instructor in Residence at Bradley University

The Mund-Lagowski Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Bradley University is seeking applications for a full-time, one-year position, as an Instructor in Residence. The appointment will be effective beginning August 17, 2015 pending budget approval.  The candidates are expected to teach 4 courses per semester; primary teaching responsibilities include general chemistry and respective laboratories.  There is a minimal expectation for service or research.  The successful candidate must show evidence of strong teaching skills at the college or university level and hold the M.S. or Ph.D. in chemistry.  Bradley University is a medium sized, primarily undergraduate, university with a strong commitment to teaching.  The Department is ACS certified.  See www.bradley.edu/las/chm for general information about the Department.  Please send a letter of application, C.V. and the names and addresses of three references to: Ms. Judy Moroz, Search Committee Chair, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Bradley University, 1501 W.
