Expedition Trips

LA Music Industry Expedition

Each January, interested Music Business majors travel to Los Angeles for a seven-day expedition trip. Participating students stay on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood.

Students meet with professionals from all facets of the entertainment industry. Past trips have included visits to:

  • Fox Studios scoring sessions for “The Family Guy.”
  • Agency for the Performing Arts
  • William Morris Endeavor
  • Warner Records
  • Peermusic
  • Atom Factory
  • WFL Management
  • Yamaha Corporation
  • Remo
  • D’Addario
  • American Federation of Musicians Local 47
  • Comcast Entertainment
  • Los Angeles Philharmonic
  • Disneyland

Additionally, students spend three days at the NAMM Show in Anaheim. This music products trade show is closed to the public, but students take advantage of Bradley’s unique affiliation with NAMM to attend the show.

This trip facilitates networking opportunities for future internships and careers in the music industry.

Nashville Summer NAMM Expedition

Students travel to Nashville each summer to attend the Summer NAMM Show and meet with music industry professionals.

Chicago Music Industry Expedition

Organized by Musicians in Business (MIB), students travel to Chicago each fall to learn about music industry opportunities in the Midwest.

Hollywood Semester

The Bradley University Hollywood Semester joins with the University of Texas at Austin in an incredible collaborative opportunity through their University of Texas Los Angeles program.  Bradley students in any major are offered the chance to live, study and intern in Los Angeles.   The program is open for student participation each fall, spring or summer semesters.
