Neuroscience is the scientific study of how neural processes and structures are related to behavior. An increasingly popular field for undergraduates, neuroscience is excellent preparation for students considering medical and health-related professions, for those interested in working in biomedical research and/or marketing, for careers in pharmaceutical research or sales, or for students planning to pursue clinical or experimental graduate degrees.
The neuroscience minor at Bradley is an interdisciplinary collaboration among the Departments of Biology and Psychology. The program’s goal is to provide students with a strong foundation in behavioral, cellular/molecular and cognitive neuroscience coursework and to provide meaningful access to an engaging undergraduate research experience. The contributing faculty in the neuroscience program are award-winning teachers and internationally recognized scholars who are committed to delivering the highest quality curricular and co-curricular experiences for our students.
