Dr. Schmitt Most Highly Cited Cross-Cultural Scholar

In a systematic review of recent scholarly publications in cross-cultural and ethnic psychology (2003-2009), Dr. David P. Schmitt of Bradley University’s Department of Psychology, Bradley University was distinguished as the most highly cited scholar in the field of cross-cultural psychology (Hartmann et al., 2013).   Generally, the more an article is cited by other scholars, the larger the scientific impact of that article.

In 2012, Dr. Schmitt was noted as author of the Overall Most Cited Article published in 2008 in the field of Personality Psychology and also was noted as co-author of Overall Second Most Cited Article published in 2009 in the field of Personality Psychology (Allik, 2012).
