Women, Gender, and the Law will be the theme this year for the Women's Studies Program.  This years' events kicked off with a lecture by Lilly Ledbetter to a crowd of 300 faculty, staff, students, and community attending.  Ms. Ledbetter shared her story of pay discrimination that ultimately led to the Lilly Ledbeter Fair Pay Act of 2009. 

Bernice Sandler will be next on the agenda with her talk "Chilly Climate for Women:   How They are Often Treated Differently in Ways that No One Notices" on October 23, 7:00 pm in the Marty Theatre.
