Student Aides

The Student Aides are undergraduate students who are responsible for a variety of programs throughout the year that assist new students in their transition from high school to college. These students are most visible during the Summer Orientation program where they use their creativity, responsibility, and communication abilities when working with new students and parents. These students are available 24 hours a day during the orientation sessions and on a part-time basis during the school year. Throughout the fall semester Student Aides co-teach at least one section of The University Experience course, EHS 120, assist with the Academic Majors & Minors Fair, and attend and possibly present at the Regional Orientation Directors Association annual spring conference.

During the spring semester, when you are hired, your primary responsibilities will be planning for summer orientation in small groups. Throughout the year, random projects may be given by the Director of Orientation and Advisement.
