Service on Saturday

Service on Saturday (SoS) was created to help Bradley students impact the Peoria community through volunteerism.

Here’s how it works:

We coordinate approximately ten different volunteer opportunities one Saturday each month.  Students sign up to attend SoS and get to select the volunteer project they want to participate in.  We provide transportation, and all SoS volunteers get free breakfast and lunch. Check-in takes place in the Harper/Wyckoff lobby beginning at 9:30am.

Service on Saturday is coordinated by SERVE, the new organization that coordinates volunteer opportunities for Bradley students, so students are selecting the volunteer projects for other students.  To learn more about SERVE or to help plan future SoS events, check out the SERVE website.

All Service on Saturday events are held from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Students must be available for the entire time to participate.

To learn more about Service on Saturday or to sign up for an upcoming SoS, send us an e-mail at BradleySERVE@gmail.com.

This program has been made possible by a grant from the Thomas and Ellen Foster Fund of the Community Foundation of Central Illinois.
