2009 Presidential Museums Tour

Join us for an exciting opportunity to learn more about Ulysses S. Grant, William
Jefferson Clinton, George H.W. Bush, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Harry S.
Truman. Along the way, we’ll make two related “mystery stops,” visit the Johnson Ranch (Texas White House), and visit the Sixth Floor Museum (the site from which John F. Kennedy was assassinated). We’ll also tour the Steamboat Arabia Museum in
Kansas City.

Your host will be Bernie Drake, former President of the Peoria Historical Society Board of Directors, who has led several trips for the Peoria Historical Society and has taught many Osher Lifelong Learning Institute classes. Bernie is a popular and knowledgeable instructor, and he will contribute much to our understanding of the sites we visit.

Sue Manley, Conference Services Director in Continuing Education and veteran traveler,
will handle all of the arrangements. You will travel worry free!

This program is co-sponsored by Bradley University Continuing Education, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, and the Peoria Historical Society.
