I Am Brave

More than 290 students were recognized at the annual “I am Brave” celebration.  This is the 3^rd year for the program that recognizes student leaders who embody the University’s mission.

"I am Brave" is held in order to honor to student leaders in all aspects of their lives. It emphasizes that leadership is not positional, it impacts them in multiple ways. They may be a leader as a student, volunteer, committee member, or etc. It emphasizes recognizing students who may not hold the title, but represent the university and deserve acknowledgement.

Students are nominated by their peers, faculty and staff.
