String Chamber Music Concert April 30

Student ensembles from the Department of Music at Bradley University will present a string chamber music concert on Wednesday, April 30, at 7:30 p.m. in Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. Admission is free and open to the public.

The recital will feature string quartets, a trio, and duos. Works being performed include Mendelssohn String Quartet in E-Flat Major, Op.12, Bruch Eight Pieces, Op. 83, and the Prokofiev String Quartet No. 2 in F Major, Op. 92.

Performing in the recital are violinists Julie Haring, Laura Jorgenson, Olivia Lu, Caleb Mackinder, Jenna Ferdon, violists Natasha Alley, Lindsay Kozlowski, and Amber McGhee, cellist Billy Akers, and pianist Kinza Hagerup.

The chamber music ensembles are coached by Marcia Henry Liebenow, professor of violin, viola, and chamber music at Bradley and Concertmaster of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra.
