The Bradley University Guitar Ensemble will present a recital on Sunday, April 30, at 7:30 p.m. in the Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Ave. The event is free and open to the public.
The ensemble will present a series of works featuring Handel, Prince, David Bowie, Purcell and the ensemble director, Michael W. Hull. Each member of the group will perform a solo piece. Notable performances include Logan Wheaton's original composition entitled A Hero's Path, Alencia Norris singing Purple Rain and Mike Hinchman's arrangement of the George Michael classic Careless Whisper. Another highlight of the evening is an instrumental arrangement of Dirait-on, by Morten Lauridsen, one of America's leading composers in the
choral genre.
