The Journalist who exposed the death of Chicago teenager Laquan McDonald will be speaking at Bradley Monday, November 7. Brandon Smith is the Chicago based journalist who won the release of the police video depicting the death of Laquan McDonald. He's the youngest to ever win the Izzy Award.
He will be joined by Sydney Combs, another award winning journalist who's currently working on a project depicting corruption in Chicago.
Presentations will take place at noon (GCC 104), 3:00 (GCC 207) and 5:00 (GCC 104).
