Alumni May Qualify for Law School Scholarship

January 20, 2015

An exclusive opportunity is being offered to Bradley alumni through a recent partnership between Bradley University and IU McKinney that includes a half-tuition scholarship award for law school. Law School is a great opportunity for a change in career, regardless of your undergrad degree.

Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law is located in downtown Indianapolis in a vibrant capital city, filled with opportunities for those who study law. IU McKinney faculty are passionate about mentoring a new generation of lawyers and leaders, while also working at the leading edge of their disciplines. They have incredibly loyal alumni and friends throughout the state – indeed all around the nation and world – who prove invaluable as mentors and networkers to students. IU McKinney continues to attract strong students with their nationally ranked health law and legal analysis, research and communication programs; part-time evening program allowing busy professionals the opportunity to work while in school; and numerous opportunities to specialize a law degree through their programs, centers, graduate certificates and joint degree options.

Through the Bradley and IU McKinney partnership, we are offering two alumni and/or graduating seniors the opportunity to apply for and be awarded the Bradley Law Scholar. Recipients of this award would receive:

  • Minimum of a half-tuition scholarship ranging from $12,000-$22,000 per year, depending on residency.
  • Designation as a program Fellow in the student’s chosen area of study. Student will have the opportunity to meet with faculty in his/her first semester to help determine area of study, if needed.
  • Paid employment as a Research Assistant following completion of 30 law school credit hours, should the student be interested in securing employment. Maximum of 100 hours per semester, not to exceed 400 hours prior to graduation.
  • Guaranteed experiential learning opportunities, typically an externship, after completion of 30 law school credit hours.
