Faculty, staff, and alumni were recognized at Founder's Day events at Bradley University today.

The Caterpillar Inc. Faculty Achievement Awards for Scholarship and Teaching recognize outstanding non-tenured faculty.

The Samuel Rothberg Professional Excellence Award recognizes outstanding achievements in research and creativity by a senior faculty member. Recipients are expected to make original contributions to their field and submit these contributions for critical appraisal by their professional peers.

The Francis C. Mergen Award for Public Service is presented annually by the Central Illinois Bradley Alumni Chapter and Bradley University Alumni Association. It goes to a Bradley faculty or staff member who has distinguished himself or herself in public service, and is named in honor of Francis C. Mergen, former chair of the Department of Industrial Engineering.
