Women's Choir Concert To Be Presented December 4

The Bradley University Women's Choir, under the direction of Dr. Kerry Walters, will present a concert of music for women’s voices on Friday, December 4, at 7:30 p.m. at the Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue.  

The first half of the program will feature choral music from several musical eras including pieces by Brahms, Mendelssohn and contemporary Danish composer Ola Gjeilo. The second half will include holiday music for the season. Of special note is Illinois composer Michael Engelhardt’s arrangement of the ancient carol “Gaudete” for choir and four percussion players. Also featured will be Voce Femine, a small group made up of members from the larger ensemble. Dr. Tatiana Shustova is pianist for the group.

Admission is free for students and $5 for the general public. Tickets will be available at the door the evening of the performance. For more information please call 677-2601.
