String Chamber Music Concert is December 5

The String Chamber Music Concert featuring student ensembles from the Department of Music at Bradley University will be presented Saturday, December 5 at 3:00 pm in Dingeldine Music Center. The recital is free and open to the public. 

The recital will feature a string quintet, a quartet and a duo. Works being performed include Franz Joseph Haydn Quartet in D Minor, Op. 72, No. 2 “Quinten”, Felix Mendelssohn Quintet No. 2 in B-Flat Major, Op. 87, and String Quartet No. 1 in G Minor, Op. 27 by Edvard Grieg.

Performing in the recital are violinists Hannah Gudeman, Julie Haring, Kayla Michaels, and Molly Wilson; violists Natasha Alley, Lindsay Kozlowski, and Amber McGhee; and cellists Billy Akers and Mikaela Hawkins.

The chamber music ensembles are coached by Marcia Henry Liebenow, who is the professor of Violin, Viola, and Chamber Music at Bradley and Concertmaster of the Peoria Symphony Orchestra. Please call 677-2602 for more information.
