The Bradley Advantage

As an elementary education major, you will be prepared to connect with students from culturally diverse backgrounds through 100 hours of field training that gives you ESL certification in addition to your teaching background. Professional classroom experiences begin your freshman year and culminate with student-teaching your senior year. You also have opportunities to tutor children and mentor adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities.

Successful Outcomes

Bradley’s early childhood education program successfully prepares you to enter the workforce. Education students boast a 100 percent pass rate on Illinois licensure tests and almost all find jobs or continue their education within six months of graduation. They’re working throughout Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, North Carolina, Texas and Wisconsin.

Peoria

Bradley and Peoria share much in common--a diverse population, world-class research facilities, outstanding fine arts and entertainment, and a great sense of community. In this regard, Peoria simultaneously offers the urban benefits of a big city and the personality of a small town.
