For wired connections only
All student computers on campus must be registered in order to have access to the wired Campus Network and the Internet. Faculty and Staff may also be asked to register their computers in order to provide asset management information. The registration process allows us to provide additional network security and gives us valuable information regarding trends in network usage.
If you are registering an Apple computer, turn off the Wi-Fi prior to registration. If the Wi-Fi is left on, NetReg will register both the computers W-Fi MAC address and the Ethernet card MAC address.
