Faculty Research Earns Scholarship

A research article by Bradley University business faculty Dr. Eden Blair, associate professor of entrepreneurship, and Dr. Tanya Marcum, associate professor of business law, won a 2016 Schulze Publication Award for a paper submitted to the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Exchange (EIX).

The paper, “When Kickstarter Campaigns Don’t Deliver: A Case Study of Phenom Fabrics,” analyzed a failed crowdfunding campaign. In recognition of the contribution, Bradley will receive an academic scholarship from the Richard Schulze Foundation. It is the second time the faculty have received the honor.

EIX is part of the educational outreach supported through the namesake foundation of Best Buy Co. founder Richard Schulze. Launched in 2014, EIX promotes scholarly research for use by entrepreneurship professors, students and entrepreneurs.
