Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI)

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Bradley University (OLLI) is an organization of over 1,100 members who want to stay vital and active as they reach and enjoy retirement. One way to do that is to keep learning, so they participate in the many OLLI programs that include educational travel, classes, study groups and co-sponsored events. Only two requirements apply to OLLI members: they must be at least 50 years old and have a love of learning.

Vaccination Mandate – What OLLI Members Need to Know

On August 26, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker announced that all higher education personnel and students will be required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. This encompasses both public and private institutions.

The Governor’s Executive Order requires employees and students to provide proof of vaccination directly to the institution.

Bradley University will comply with the mandate, which requires employees and students to receive the first dose of a two-dose vaccination series or a single-dose vaccination by September 5, 2021. Second doses of the vaccine must be received by 30 days after the first dose.

OLLI in person events will require masks in all indoor public spaces per Bradley University policy, following CDC and Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) guidance.
