Brian Scheffler
Upon graduating from Bradley University in 2009, Brian began his entrepreneurial journey in broadcasting by building a multi-camera production truck for live sporting events. His clients began as TV stations wanting to broadcast local high school sporting events and grew over the years to include contracts for collegiate sports. REMSHO, the company Brian created, holds the contract to produce Bradley's athletic events on ESPN+. He and his staff also engineer and provide on-site technical management of national linear broadcasts including events like Major League Rugby on FOX Sports 1 (FS1) and college basketball on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU. This endeavor has taken his business outside the Peoria region with events occurring anywhere from Chicago to Orlando to Las Vegas.
During his time at Bradley, Brian was involved with the former TV program Midstate Magazine (reimagined as the current BUtv News). He also worked at WMBD and WTVP. During the summers of his sophomore and junior years at Bradley, he worked in Los Angeles behind-the-scenes on the reality TV show Big Brother -- which, fun fact, has a significant Bradley connection within its production crew.
