Professional development activities in the last 5 years:

  • Implemented the Kiel Integrated Development Environment (IDE) as the laboratory platform for all Intel 8051 based microcontroller system development to provide students exposure to a professional level IDE
  • Expended significant time and effort expanding my knowledge of the VHDL hardware description language, and researching the various hardware and software environments available to determine the most reliable and user-friendly IDE for CPLD/FPGA design in the ECE laboratories
