Biography

VETERAN

Tyler J. Smith joined the Entrepreneurship, Technology, and Law Department in 2018. His work experience includes service as an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at Ivy Tech Community College, a law clerk for the Family Court of the State of Delaware and the Indiana State Personnel Department, as well as other positions with state and local agencies. Tyler also served for 14 years in the Army National Guard.

Scholarship

Tyler has published in several law journals and currently serves as a Staff Editor for the Atlantic Law Journal, a publication of the Mid-Atlantic Academy of Legal Studies in Business. He has also contributed to the Guantanamo Bay Fair Trial Manual used by NGOs, as well as professional blogs. His research interests include constitutional law, civil and human rights, and corporate ethics.
