Biography
I worked on the general pediatric floor at OSF as an RN, then as a primary charge nurse, for all of my bedside nursing career. I have always loved caring for others, especially children. After becoming a nurse, I found enjoyment in the educational aspect of nursing and pursued a master’s degree in nursing education to combine my passions of teaching and nursing. I am excited to be able to share my knowledge of pediatrics with the nursing students at Bradley while continuing to grow and learn as a nurse and assistant professor.
Hobbies
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I love to travel and explore the outdoors, and especially love to garden. My husband and I have a 100 pound golden retriever, Murphy, who loves to adventure with us. I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, I am always watching cooking shows on the food network channel!
