Residence Hall Offices will be open during the designated times. Please arrive during your move-in appointment
If you’re a residential student and are unable to return to campus during the designated move-in times, Saturday, Aug. 23 or Sunday, Aug. 24, accommodation requests will open after July 7. If you need a move-in accommodation, please sign up HERE.
If you’re returning to the residence halls as a part of Orientation, an athletic team, or approved department or organization please follow their plans and arrangements. If you are unsure if you are a part of an early approved group, please reach out to your advisor/supervisor and follow their instructions..

Mattress Sizes
University, Heitz, Williams, Elmwood, Lovelace, Wendle and Williams have extra-long twin mattresses provided throughout the entire building. Harper Hall and Wyckoff Hall have one extra long mattress and one standard mattress in each room. In Geisert, most rooms have twin mattresses with some rooms having extra-long twin mattresses provided. The extra long mattresses are 3″ longer than standard size. You may request an extra-long twin mattresses by emailing the housing office at housing@bradley.edu.

Arrive and Check-In
On move-in day, all traffic to campus will be diverted along N. University Street to W. Bradley Avenue (refer to map).
Please arrive during your assigned time. Proceed to the designated parking area for your residence hall where Move-In Helpers will meet you to unload your belongings (Make sure to label all of your items!)
Relocate Your Vehicle
Once you are finished unloading, we ask that vehicles relocate to the designated area so others are able to move in. You will be able to park in the parking decks. As you arrive on campus, you’ll be given a vehicle form to complete. You can fill out the form in advance, print it, and place it on your dashboard.
Retrieve Your Key
Go to the front desk to check in and retrieve your room key.
QuickCard Pick-Up
Students must provide a valid government issued ID to receive their Bradley ID card. Those who have submitted a photo can pick up from the library and others can go to IT Service Desk during regular hours of the BUPD Dispatch Office in off-hours.
Settle In
Get unpacked and prepare to head to your first-floor meeting.
Dining Services will have limited hours at various locations during Move-In Day and Welcome Week. Visit bradley.campusdish.com to see your on-campus dining options.
For questions regarding the meal plan, please visit https://bradley.campusdish.com/. Residential students are required to have a meal plan. If no meal plan is selected, your meal plan will default to the 14-per-week meal plan. You can make changes to your meal plan beginning August 17 – August 30. Login to resliving.bradley.edu, click on the ‘Change my Meal Plan’ link at the top of the page to view and change your meal plan during that time. Note: Meal Plan changes must be processed manually and may take up to 48 hours to process
ATMs on campus are located outside the Bookstore and in the Michel Student Center.
Public Restrooms will be available in the Michel Student Center from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and in residence halls.
Students must provide a valid government issued ID to receive their Bradley ID card.
For students who have already submitted a photo:
- You can pick up your ID card at the IT Service Desk in the Cullom-Davis Library, Mon-Fri, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., and during move-in weekend, Saturday, Aug. 23 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. in the library; Sunday, Aug. 24 from noon – 5 p.m.
- Afterhours, ID cards will be located in the BUPD Dispatch Center located in MacMillan Hall, 1308 W. Bradley Avenue.
For students who have not submitted a photo:
- Please go to the IT Service Desk in the library during regular business hours (M-F, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) and Saturday, Aug. 23, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. to have an ID printed; Sunday, Aug. 24 from noon – 5 p.m.
- After-hours, students may get a temporary card at the BUPD Dispatch Center located in MacMillan Hall, 1308 W. Bradley Avenue. The temporary card will need to be turned in within 24 hours at the IT Service Desk when your permanent ID is made.

Parking permits are distributed from the Cashier windows of Swords Hall. The Cashier windows will have expanded hours Aug. 25 through Aug. 29, and the hours will be 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Regular hours for Swords Hall are 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Regular hours for the Cashier windows are 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Parking citations for not displaying a valid permit will begin on the first day of classes, Wednesday, Aug. 27. However, parking citations may be issued before Aug. 27 for other parking infractions (e.g., parking in a handicap space without a handicap placard or license plate, parking in a restricted space or no parking zone, etc).
Please note the parking restrictions, lot closures, and road closures listed below.
- No parking will be allowed on W. Bradley Ave. from N. University St. to N. Institute Pl. beginning at 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, through Saturday, August 23.
- No parking will be allowed in the 800 and 900 blocks of N. Elmwood Ave., Visitor’s Lot, Duryea Lot, and Geisert Lot, beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 22, through Saturday, August 23.
- No parking will be allowed in Founder’s Circle (1400 block of W. St. James St.) beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 22, through 8 a.m. on Monday, August 23.
- No parking will be allowed on the west side of the 800-900 blocks on N. University and the south side of the 1300 block on W. Main St. beginning at 8 a.m. Friday, August 22, through Saturday, August 23.
- Southbound Elmwood St. at W. Main St. and W. St. James St. and Northbound Elmwood Ave. at W. Bradley Ave. will be closed starting at 5 p.m. on Friday, August 22, through Saturday, August 23.
- Eastbound Bradley Ave. at N. Institute Pl., Southbound St. James St. at N. University St., and the W. Fredonia Ave. and N. Institute Pl. entrances to Heuser Hall Lot will be closed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 23.
Peoria Charter Coach Buses will depart from the front of Renaissance Coliseum on Main Street the entire weekend.
All faculty, staff, and students must move their vehicles from the above mentioned lots/areas. It is recommended to use the Main Street Parking Deck. Other available parking areas include Heuser and Swords parking lots. For those faculty, staff and students who will not be on campus on Move-In Day but will have vehicles parked on campus, you cannot leave vehicles parked near residence halls. Park vehicles in the Main Street Parking Deck if you are leaving the university prior to the dates of restricted parking.
