Coming This Fall

Bradley University’s state-of-the art Business and Engineering Convergence Center will soon open its doors. When the first phase is ready, the $100 million building will transform the campus learning environment.

The building will encourage collaborative education as the home of the Foster College of Business, Caterpillar College of Engineering and Technology, as well as the Institute for Innovation through Collaboration. Modern technology and flexible learning spaces will be signature features.

In addition, the facility will enhance Peoria's Main Street corridor by enriching livability in surrounding neighborhoods, paving the way for more growth and drawing attention to the region as an innovator in education and economic development.

Offices and equipment are being moved into the building throughout August and technology systems will soon be installed. While students and faculty settle into the building, work will continue through 2020 on the demolition of Jobst Hall and construction of phase 2 of the Convergence Center’s remaining wing.

Once complete, the Convergence Center will provide 270,000 square feet of academic space, with 200 offices, 28 classrooms, eight computer labs and 46 specialized labs.
