Contacts for concerns or complaints regarding programs and services at Bradley University are provided below. The recommended first step in resolving concerns and complaints is to contact the instructor, department or school, college, or student affairs unit at the University responsible for the course, program, or service that is the source of concern or complaint. These are described below by type of concern or complaint.
Bradley University Standards of Conduct sets forth policies regarding appropriate academic conduct. and describes processes followed when violations of the code are alleged, including, but not limited to, violations of Academic Integrity policies that prohibit plagiarism and other acts of academic dishonesty. Questions regarding the Standards of Conduct and its enforcement may be directed to the Office of Residential Living and Student Conduct.
Students are first encouraged to contact their instructor if seeking assistance with a concern regarding a course, academic program, or grade using the guidelines identified in the Informal Procedure of the University Student Grievance Policy. Should the issue not be resolved to the satisfaction of either party , the student or faculty member may seek assistance from the Formal Procedure of the University Student Grievance Policy.

Students may also choose to seek the advice of the Academic Ombudsman. The Academic Ombudsman, a faculty member to whom students may bring complaints about teaching, serves a purely communicative and advisory. function.
Students enrolled in a distance education program of Bradley University but residing in a state other than Illinois may also contact the agency in their state responsible for oversight of colleges and universities. Concerns or complaints regarding student services, including, but not limited to, campus housing, campus dining services, student health services, student counseling services, and student recreation services, should first be addressed to the supervisor or director responsible for the service or unit. Students needing assistance identifying the appropriate individual or party to whom a concern or complaint should be addressed may contact the Vice President for Student Affairs office for guidance.
Any concerns or complaints regarding alleged sexual harassment should be reported immediately to the Office of Title IX Compliance at (309) 677-2081 .
Any concerns or complaints regarding alleged discrimination committed by students should be reported immediately to Student Conduct at (309) 677-3221.
Any concerns or complaints regarding alleged discrimination committed by employees should be reported immediately to Bradley University Human Resources/Title IX at (309) 677-3223.

Students may also address any concern or complaint regarding any program or service of Bradley University to the Illinois Board of Higher Education, the state agency responsible for oversight of colleges and universities, or to the Higher Learning Commission, the regional entity that accredits Bradley University. Please note that the staff of either agency may refer any person communicating a concern or complaint not yet communicated to the appropriate unit at Bradley University back to Bradley University.
