Bradley Doing Its Part to Aid Future and Current Nurse Practitioners

Geared toward meeting the needs of nurse practitioner (NP) students and practicing NPs, Bradley is hosting a nurse practitioner skills workshop on May 17 and 18 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Westlake Hall room 116. The clinical instructors of this workshop have extensive knowledge with teaching advanced diagnostic skills and continue to work in both family practice and emergency department settings.
Attendees will learn the following skills:
- suturing
- splinting/casting
- skin biopsies
- incision/drainage
- joint injections
- cerumen lavage
- IUD/implant insertion
- coding and billing
They will also receive:
- breakfast and lunch
- materials and supplies
- a digital badge
- 16 hours’ worth of continuing education (including 3.75 hours of pharmacology).
