Upcoming Senior Student Recitals at Bradley University

Vocal and Percussion Recital

Friday | March 6
7:30 p.m. | Dingeldine Music Center
Caitlyn DePriest, a senior vocal music education major at Bradley University, will present her senior vocal and percussion recital. She is a student of Courtney Huffman-Frye and Peggy Bonner of the Bradley Department of Music faculty and is preparing for a career as a high school choir director.
This recital will feature a piece entitled The Carnival of Venice, arranged By Scott R. Meister. Additional pieces will be showcased in a variety of languages, including French, Spanish, German and Italian. Batti, batti, o bel Masetto, Lied der Mignon, Der Musensohn, Chanson triste, Psyche, Six Elizabethan Songs, The Carnival of Venice and Cuatro Madrigales Amatorios will be featured. Saxophone and Voice Recital

Aileen Kuypers, a senior music education major at Bradley University, will present her senior saxophone and voice recital. She is a student of Keith Zimmerman of the Bradley Department of Music faculty and is preparing for a career as a band and/or choral director and general music teacher.
This recital will feature cooperative performances with flutist Eva Corona and saxophonists Matthew Grebner, Marc Gaskin, and Christopher Faulstich. Selections include saxophone pieces Tableaux de Provence by Paule Maurice and Scaramouche by Darius Milaud, along with vocal pieces Frühlingsglaube by Franz Schubert and Mr. Snow by Rodgers and Hammerstein. Flute Recital

Nina Bui, a senior music education major at Bradley University, will present her senior flute recital. She is a student of Dr. Kyle Dzapo of the Bradley Department of Music faculty and is preparing for a career in music education.
This recital will feature a significant flute repertoire from the late 19th and 20th centuries. The pieces include Carl Philipp Emmanuel Bach’s Sonata in G Major, Debussy’s Syrinx, Roussel's Joueurs de Flûte, Reinecke’s Ballade, and Hindemith Sonata for flute and piano.
