Guest Pianist to Perform at Bradley

Guest pianist Katia Dinas will present a concert Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in the Dingeldine Music Center with a program including works that span from the Baroque period to contemporary music. Additionally, Dinas will premier three winning piano compositions by students from the Bradley music composition studio. These include “Mind Field” by Mel Ferguson, “What Will Become” by Jonah Sendlin, and “Starved Rock” by Dawson Ouellette.
Dinas has given solo and chamber music recitals in concert venues across the U.S., Canada, England, Germany and Greece, including Carnegie Hall and the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. She holds a piano diploma from the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki in Greece, a combined bachelor's and master’s degree in musicology from Aristotle University in Greece and a doctorate in piano performance from Michigan State University. Dinas currently resides in Dallas, Texas, where she teaches piano and works at Southern Methodist University.
This concert is part of Bradley’s Guest Artist Series. Admission is $5 for adults and free for students. All audience members will be required to be masked for the duration of the performance, including entry, intermission, and exiting. For additional information, call 309.677.2603.
