Helping Area Businesses Find The Next Big Thing

June 27, 2019

Brave Launch, a 7-week intense business accelerator offered through the Illinois Small Business Development Center at Bradley University, offers startup businesses in the region a platform for growing their business as well as development help for new products or services.

Participants will learn skills that will take their business to new heights by utilizing beneficial resources. They will gain an in-depth knowledge of their customer base and value chains, leading to efficiency in the workplace.

Former participant Andy Champion, founder of The Oakford Group and inventor of the Invertabelt shares, “Brave Launch has allowed me to improve my skills as an entrepreneur by developing a better understanding of the transfer of value that exists at all levels of my business, allowing my business to grow exponentially.”

Different from other startup programs in the Peoria area, Brave Launch is focused on innovative enterprises that want to develop a sustainable business model and grow. The program’s certified instructors have led organizations like Natural Fiber Welding, EatandEvolve, The Oakford Group, Ring Bandits and Scious to name a few.

Applications for the next Brave Launch cohort are being accepted now through August 26, 2019. The program will officially kick-off on September 24, 2019. To learn more or to apply for Brave Launch, visit bradley.edu/bravelaunch or call 309-677-2992.
