Haley Krus joined the Bradley University Marketing and Communications team in September 2017 and serves as Assistant Director of Public Relations. In this role, Krus contributes to campus and community relations including internal campus communications, media relations, presidential speech writing, crisis communications and more.
Krus is a member of the Board of Directors at the Peoria Friendship House and serves on its nominating committee. Additionally, she is a member of the Board of Directors at the Heart of Illinois United Way, where she also serves as the chair of their young professionals group, GENeration United. She is an active member at Great Oaks Community Church and enjoys serving in the community wherever she can. Recently, she was awarded the Living Lydia's Legacy award, given to recognize Bradley alumni for the impact they're making on students and the university.
Prior to working at Bradley, Krus received a B.A. in public relations from Bradley, where she also studied management and leadership and graduated summa cum laude. She completed internships for various companies including NBC Olympics, the Chicago Automobile Trade Association, WCIC Radio - New Life Media, and Crossroads - Real Communication. She was also actively involved in the Bradley cheerleading team, Chi Omega fraternity, Campus Outreach ministry, and Order of the Omega honor society.
