Center for Cybersecurity – Services

The Center for Cybersecurity offers a variety of consulting and training services to the local community.

Bradley Cybersecurity Clinic

The Bradley Cybersecurity Clinic provides hands-on assistance to local businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations seeking to improve their cybersecurity posture. Through faculty guidance and student involvement, the Clinic offers services such as vulnerability assessments, risk evaluations, and recommendations for strengthening security practices. By working with the Clinic, organizations gain access to practical solutions that protect sensitive data and critical systems—while Bradley students gain invaluable real-world experience applying their classroom learning to meaningful community impact.

Bradley Red Team

The Bradley Red Team consists of students enrolled in the cybersecurity capstone course, MIS 483 – Advanced Ethical Hacking. The Bradley Red Team simulates real-world cyberattacks against local small business clients to identify weaknesses before malicious actors can exploit them. Equipped with advanced tools and guided by expert faculty, the team conducts penetration testing, ethical hacking exercises, and security research projects that mirror industry practices. The Bradley Red Team not only helps partner organizations uncover vulnerabilities, but also prepares its members for careers in offensive and defensive security roles by cultivating skills in problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking.

Awareness Training

The Center for Cybersecurity also offers security awareness training for the general public, empowering individuals and organizations to recognize and defend against cyber threats. Training sessions, delivered by faculty or trained students, cover essential topics such as phishing, password security, multi-factor authentication, and safe internet use. These programs are designed to be accessible and engaging, ensuring that participants walk away with the knowledge and confidence needed to protect both personal and organizational information. By raising awareness and promoting best practices, the Center contributes to building a safer and more resilient digital community.
