The Bradley Advantage

Bradley’s biochemistry program unites the fields of chemistry and biology so you can understand biological systems at the foundational level. As a biochemistry major, you learn biology and chemistry, and you take several courses focused on biochemistry. You can begin collaborative research projects with faculty mentors your first year. Many of these projects have professional implications or lead to credit in academic journals. You also have opportunities to present your work at local, regional and national conferences.

Successful Outcomes

Bradley’s biochemistry program successfully prepares you to directly enter the workforce or graduate school. In recent years, all students found jobs or continued their education within six months of graduation. They're working at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, ScribeAmerica and Thermo Fisher Scientific. Others are attending graduate school at institutions such as the University of North Carolina, University of Wisconsin and Northwestern University.
