The Human Genome Project, completed in 2001, ushered in a new era of biological research and understanding, as the relationship between DNA sequences and cellular functions became easier to study. The course will serve as a mechanism to organize proposal development and presentation. Bradley’s environmental science—chemistry program gives you a foundation in biology, chemistry, ecology and earth science. With the chemistry concentration, you gain a stronger understanding of human-environment relations through biochemistry and other related chemistry studies. You also can choose a concentration in biology or physics. All environmental science programs give you opportunities to work closely with faculty and classmates in research. Additionally, you can explore professional careers through internships as part of your coursework.
Bradley’s environmental science—chemistry program successfully prepares you to enter the workforce or graduate school In recent years, almost all graduates found jobs or continued their education within six months of graduation. They’re continuing their education at institutions such as Texas A&M University and the University of Iowa.
