The Bradley Advantage

Bradley’s theatre arts program develops your skills in acting, stage design and costume construction as you learn the vision and process of theatre-making. You’re fully involved in production from your first semester as you learn performance, stagecraft, history and design. In addition to theatre department performances, you can participate in a student-run improv troupe and other theatre-focused student organizations. Though not required, you can add a concentration in performance or production. If you don’t choose a concentration, you can add another academic focus that fits your career goals. Recent theatre arts majors have also majored in television arts, advertising, public relations, political science, creative writing, music and studio art.

Successful Outcomes

Bradley’s theatre arts program successfully prepares you for a career in the industry. In recent years, all students found jobs within six months of graduation. They’re working at Chicago’s Northlight Theatre and Crate and Barrel. Others are continuing their education at Florida State University and Penn State University.
