Professional Programs for Emerging Leaders
Each semester graduate students from a wide variety of institutions study in our on-site or online programs. The various post-baccalaureate programs consist of masters’ degrees, the doctor of physical therapy degree, the family nurse practitioner degree, the doctor of nursing practice degree, and graduate certificate programs. These graduate programs are intended to promote the professional development of graduate students by engaging them in research, creative production, workplace-oriented experiences, and theoretical studies. If you’re a licensed RN with a diploma, associate’s or bachelor’s degree, you can complete a Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner through Bradley while living anywhere in the U.S.
The online family nurse practitioner program is spaced over nine semesters so you can finish it without leaving the workforce. Even though you may be miles from campus, you’re closely connected with Bradley faculty and classmates. You complete five clinical practicums with Bradley-approved preceptors of your choice. A capstone project finishes the experience. Upon completion of the program, you are prepared for certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center or American Organization of Nurse Executives.
With a FNP master’s degree, you’re prepared to take the FNP credentialing exam. You then can work in hospitals, clinics, private practices, schools, community clinics, Hospices and other settings. You will be free to examine patients, diagnose illness and treat patients without a supervising physician in 20 states.
