A Brighter Future for America.

Abstract: "Advanced nuclear energy holds immense promise for meeting the growing demand for clean, reliable, and sustainable power generation. From next-generation reactor designs offering enhanced safety features to advanced fuel cycles maximizing resource utilization, these innovations can drive economic growth, job creation, and environmental stewardship.
Moreover, in the military sphere, advanced nuclear technologies offer enhanced capabilities for our armed forces, ranging from compact power sources for remote installations to larger installation applications that can provide the energy security and resiliency required in today’s multi threat environment."

The Journey of an Urban Raindrop.

Abstract: A story is told that follows the surprisingly complex physicochemical transformation of Ardy (RD) the raindrop as he travels from cloud to street and storm sewer to river. The effects of human activity on the environment are illuminated in typically invisible facets of our urban landscapes. The role of sustainable infrastructure design, engineering, and public policy are explored in the context of Ardy's fate and public perception.

Generative AI is the end of human society as we know it. And?

Abstract: In the realm of the language arts—writing, reading, research, public speaking, and the goals they serve in informing and argumentation—generative AI is the end of human society as we know it. But the same could be said for the advent of writing in the ancient world; the printing press in the 15th century; cheap mass production of printed matter in the 19th century; and the internet, social media, and smart phones in our own lifetimes. What can we learn from those earlier changes to help guide us through the AI revolution?

AI and Generative Design

Abstract: Designers start by understanding people's needs and abilities and then create products and services that support and enhance them. Generative AI Design combines storytelling, experience, branding, and human interaction using AI tools. AI can discover a human’s interests, demographics, and behavior by processing data to generate efficient design concepts and experiences.

Preventive Healthcare with AI: A New Era of Medicine.

Abstract: Yesterday, you went to the doctor when you didn't feel well, had some tests done, and received results and a care plan maybe a week later. Today, your smart watch might indicate that you’ve had an unusually high heart rate for a while, and it’s time to find out more, even if you feel fine. Tomorrow though, AI could offer a map of your future health— and the ability to change it. Explore how AI is the tool for making truly personalized healthcare a reality.
