Hall Offices are open and move-in helpers are available during the designated times.

If you’re a residential student and are unable to return to campus during the designated move-in times Friday, Aug. 20, or Saturday, Aug. 21, please fill out a request for move-in accommodation by August 15, 2021.

If you’re returning to the residence halls as a part of Orientation, International Student and Scholar Services, or an athletic team, please follow their plans and arrangements.

At the time of your check-in, you’ll be required to pay the $40 Residence Hall Association Activity fee. Payment can be made by cash (exact amount, no change available) or check (made out to RHA); you must pay this fee prior to receiving your room key.

For questions regarding the meal plan, please visit You can make changes to your meal plan within your account at between August 20th and September 3rd. All students begin with a 9-per-week meal plan.

Getting Unloaded

When you pull up to your residence hall, we’ll have helpers ready to get you unloaded and help move your items to your room. Once your car is unloaded, find a parking spot and enjoy the rest of the day.

You’re required to follow the move-in route as many streets surrounding campus will be closed and rerouted. Bradley Police will direct traffic to keep a steady flow. Please follow their lead.

Getting the Most Out of Your Visit

Seeing and experiencing the university first-hand is the best way to familiarize yourself with all Bradley has to offer and to feel comfortable about your new home away from home. We suggest some of the following activities to help everyone feel at ease:

  • Bring your camera, take pictures!
  • Drink lots of water and get plenty of rest.
  • Take a walk around the campus and locate some of the offices and/or classrooms you will go to during the upcoming semester.
  • Go on a short outing off-campus to learn about the Peoria area.

Dining Services

Dining Services will have limited hours at various locations during Move-In Day and Welcome Week. Visit to see your on-campus dining options.

Public Restrooms

Olin Hall, Caterpillar Global Communications Center, Michel Student Center, Student Access Services, Heitz Hall – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Additional restrooms are available throughout the day in the residence halls.


ATMs on campus are located outside the Bookstore and in the Michel Student Center.

Welcome Week

Welcome Week is a time for students to connect and reconnect with the Bradley family! The week is filled with opportunities to safely engage with students, faculty and staff. We are excited to have you at Bradley and can't wait to launch the new year with you. To learn more about the Welcome Week activities.

QuickCard Pick-Up

Students must provide a valid government issued ID to receive their Bradley ID card.

For students who have already submitted a photo: 

  • You can pick up your ID card at the IT Service Desk in the Cullom-Davis Library M-F 8am - 5pm and also during move-in weekend on Saturday, August 21 from 8am - 5pm in the library. 
  • After 5:00pm, ID cards will be located in the BUPD Dispatch Center located in MacMillan Hall, 1308 West Bradley Avenue, Peoria, IL 61606.

For students who have not submitted a photo:

  • Please go to the IT Service Desk in the library during regular business hours (M-F 8am-5pm) and on Saturday, August 21, from 8am-5pm to have an ID printed.
  • After business hours, Wednesday through Saturday and Sunday, August 22, students may get a temporary card at the BUPD Dispatch Center located in MacMillan Hall, which will need to be returned within 24 hours.

Parking Permits

Regular hours for Financial Services, located in Swords Hall (Room 103), is 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Regular hours for the Cashier windows are 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Parking permits are distributed from the Cashier windows of Financial Services. The Cashier windows will have expanded hours August 19 through August 30, as they will be open until 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Parking citations for not displaying a valid permit will begin August 30. However, parking citations may be issued before August 30 for other parking infractions (e.g., parking in a handicap space without a handicap placard or license plate, parking in a restricted space or no parking zone, etc).
