Cybersecurity Awareness Month

The Center for Cybersecurity has been a Cyber Security Alliance champion of Cybersecurity Awareness Month since 2018. Cybersecurity Awareness Month was established in 2004 by the Department of Homeland Security and the National Cyber Security Alliance. Held every October, Cybersecurity Awareness Month is a collaborative effort between government and industry to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity and to ensure that all Americans have the resources they need to be safer and more secure online. The Center for Cybersecurity hosts several events throughout the month of October, such as Cybersecurity Day and the Cybersecurity Film Series.
